Working Experience

Completed nine (9) months of chambering with Messrs Bachan & Kartar under the supervision of Mr. Gurbachan Singh.

  1. Legal Assistant at Messrs Bachan & Kartar from 15 April 2006 until 30 June 2006.
  2. Legal Assistant at Messrs Selvam Nanda from 1 July 2006 until 31 January 2008.
  3. Legal Assistant at Messrs S.V. Namasoo from 1 February 2008 until 30 November 2020.
  4. Partner at Messrs Nurul & Charan with effect from 1 December 2020 until present (now known as Messrs Nurul, Charan & Shabnam).

Dealing in all aspect of the Law practice i.e.:-

  1. Vetting of instrument/document for registration
    As for conventional such as Facility Agreement and Annexures, and as for Islamic banking such as Property Purchase Agreement, Property Sale Agreement, Annexures, Letter of Hibah, and Power of Attorney for the following banks:

    i) Bank Simpanan Nasional
    ii) CIMB Bank Berhad
    iii) CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad
    iv) AmBank (M) Berhad
    v) AmBank Islamic Berhad
    vi) Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam (LPPSA)
    vii) Public Bank Berhad
    viii) Public Islamic Bank Berhad
    ix) Bank Islam (M) Berhad

  2. Registration of title and instrument such as Transfer, Charge, Discharge of Charge, Caveat, Order for Sale, and all matters relating to land matters.
  3. Preparing and drafting the Sale and Purchase Agreement (house, including the Government Loan), Joint Venture Agreement, and others.
  4. Divorce matters.
  5. Civil litigation (accident cases, insurance claim, injunction, order for sale).
  6. Commercial matters.
  7. Criminal matters.
